Twenty-two on the Full of the Moon

I know there's a softer side of you;

When the planets see fit,

you'll know, too

For as many times

as I've run from your arms--

(and you've run from mine)

It happened last night;

With the full of the moon,

your eyes found my eyes.

Then the pull of the tides

took my changing mood with them;

Now, the waves couldn't tell me

what it's like to be free

finds wish-washed words

kissing our hopes

and missing the ears

of one who might hear

and make them come true--

You know what I wished for:

I wished for you.

Like clockwork.

The Darkness is Beautiful

Push me past the Lover's Leap,

and lay me gently down to sleep

Paralyzed by fear of loss--

My star kissed thighs

will say goodnight

I'm scared that you're scared.
